Amen to that. Also, another good auther to look into is Scott Cunningham. I've got one of his books here and it's fairly interesting.

Of course, while reading these books, you should keep in mind that they are likely from the point-of-view of the author, and may not be the consensus of many who practice the faith...actually speaking with a few people (but not necessarily from the same coven) regarding Wicca might give you a more over-all understanding...or, fill in more of the pieces of the puzzle.

TBH, I see it as just being many pathways to the same place, and I respect others' beliefs/religion as the path that's best for them.

AS long as they are not trying to kill me for something I believe or not believe......

Then it's personal!

As far as I know, I've never heard of any instances where a Wiccan (or witch) has killed anybody for not believing as they do.  That's something some Christians and Muslims did.  And sadly, still do.

That was a tongue in cheek reference to what's going on in the world right now.....

It wasn't aimed at Wiccans.

I know...it's fine.  We're fine.  But, it's been going on for a lot longer than 'right now'.

http://paganwiccan.a...istianWicca.htm <an article I found on About.com that may help. And yes, I do go through About.com for helpful info, usually because I'm semi-anti-social, don't like discussing belief systems irl, and live in a smallish conservative college town, and don't know many pagans/heathens/what have you. Well, outside of here and Facebook.

I am now on page 219 and realizing it is a lot to remember.   Phases of the moon and planets and star signs. WOW.  We have a Wicca store here so I think I'll check it out next week after pay.

Right this way to my haunted space.
