If you ask me it looks like a fur less dog. Kinda like its mom or dad got a lil' to friendly with a seal or something. Or maybe the real Chupacabra scard him fur less

Yeah, it looks pretty ordinary to me as well. To those who insist it looks malformed for a dog, I would have to point out that, in my neighborhood, there's been a colony of stray cats that all have similarly malformed bow-legs( whence my Kumoko acquired her much worse variation) and six or seven toes. Might it not be that there's a feral dog pack with a genetic quirk in that part of Texas? That might even be rather interesting in itself, actually...

There was a footage of what's believed to be a chupacabra that was taken by the police somewhere. I saw it in CNN. I'm sure someone here can provide a link to that video. It was taken over the summer. Anyway, when I saw it...I was letdown. The chupacabra looked like a dog to me. Major let down really. I know there are others here who know what I'm referring to.

yeah i saw that video too but that is nothing close to what i saw a month ago when i tell you guys you will probably think im on acid but probably not cuz thats y this forum is here
what i saw was and long and lanky creature that was about at least 6 feet tall
with orange glowing eyes close 2 red but not quite red
it had grayish skin with no hair
triangular shaped head
the first time is saw it i was walking to the little store with my 18 year old cousin richard and as we were coming back from the store, and this was at 1 am, we saw a dog looking animal behind this large dumpster but we thought it was a great dane so we just kept walking but then it looked at us and we looked at it and saw what it was and this was our espression then as we booked it up to the house and ran inside but while we were running we heard it running after us but it never caught up i dont want to think about what would have happened if it did
it also makes the noise of a squealling pig
the next time i saw it i was with my other cousin shane who is 20 and we were out side at 11pm talking cuz it was really hot inside and we heard this noise so we looked up the hill to see the creature
running up the hill between the trees
this was a couple of days after the first sighting
the next time we saw it i was with shane and richard out at 12am because felon shanes 1 year old pitbull was acting weird about the door so we thought he had tto go to the bathroom so we went out with him and he just uncontrollably started to bark and usually when shane just raises his voice to felon felon automatticly stops barking and shane is a big guy not fat but hes built
so any way felon kept barking towards the shed and felon is a huge pit also shane trains him with a large chain while he runs and he hangs on a tire he doesnt get scared easy
so the three of us walked towards the shed and felon didnt follow us even though we called him to
so felon started to whimper and emit a high pitched bark
so we walked around the shed and sure enouph there it was just standing there looking in the opposite direction of us
little to say we didnt stay long enough to see what it was doing we ran inside with felon so fast and didnt go out again that night
felon continued to act wierd all night and lately he has been acting normal so maybe the thing left our area
this happened a few more days after the second sighting
has any one else seen any thing similar

Your initial description made me instantly think of pyramid head from Silent hill, lol sorry, it was the triangular head that did it.Pyramid image link (beware gorey dead guy and such.)
Interesting stories, though it could just be a manged/ rabied Great dane, your cousins pit bull doesnt seem bothered by it anymore because it might be dead.

he doesnt hurt him or any thing they go for jogs and he puts a chain around his neck like a collar and i always give him a hard time makeing sure its not to tight
and by him hanging on a tire is felon jumps up and bites the tire thats on a rope in a tree and hangs using his jaw muscles

thanks for the links i read about the black dogs but wouldnt the thing i saw have had black fur and look more like a dog
i dont no for sure if it was an acctual chupacabra but i dont no what else it could be unless it is another myth animal not heard about yet
