Ummm... This is going to be long, drawn out and complicated...Since i am a teen and all such matters are...

Anyways, to start I was using a couple of different names which showed how young I was when I was about twelve along with a creative nickname of one of my roleplay characters as a user name. Anyways, I joined IMVU and discovered there was a roleplay community on there. So I decided to make two characters for a Harry Potter roleplay, twins who utterly depended on each other named Aileen and Athan Nyx.

When I moved them to another board, I had to play them together because that was how they were made. But I didn't want a long username that had both of their names in it. So I instead just used their last name, Nyx. Nyx is the Greek goddess of the night and since I wanted them to be from a greek dark family it seemed appropiate.

Now, as to why my nickname is Night, when there is an option for a username and a nickname, I always make the nickname different. I thought immediately of Night since one of my characters goes under the name of Lady Night, an assassin. However, I also picked Night because it is only within the night that I can be my true self.

As for my real name... It is actually Raven which always translates to crow. So i sometimes use crow as my username and oddly enough, it became one of my totems because my Dad named me Raven.

Basically I have two options to use: either vaskitsa, which means blindworm/slowworm (Anguis fragilis) in Finnish or eatnama, which means spirit in saame (the original language of the Lapland people). I picked eatnama out of a song by the Ángelit-sisters, called Éatnama Heagga (earth spirit).
Photography is one of my dearest hobbies and some of my pics can be found from dA, http://eatnama.deviantart.com/ . I have more on my own site, but it's only in Finnish...

Vaskitsa is a bit more difficult to explain... I just like the sound of it and chose it as my domain name back in 2004 and have been using it as a screen name ever since, too. Also I kind of like the idea of Anguis fragilis; they look like snakes, but they're actually legless lizards... Everything's not as it seems :D

My real name is Heli, a sort of Finnish version of the name Helen.

I have been CaveRat from back in the old days of CB Radio Handles. I got that handle because I also am a caver, I go into those dark, muddy holes in the ground. Back then I was the skinniest one in the group and I was the one who went down every little "Rathole" nobody else could fit through. The name stuck.

Real name is Jim. I am an electronics design specialist.

CQCQCQDX

I was on the CB radio when i was....12,13.But I'll be damned if i can remember my handle.

I was good pals with a guy named rubber duck, and coyote.
we even had "eyeballs"...

...what was my handle...
I really dont remember.....crap.

When i was a baby ,instead of saying things to me like ,"cucchi coo",and goo goo goo,my mom would
call me missy moooo, and the missy part stuck. My real name doesnt even start with an M.
But i have been missy all my life.
Some of my childhood pals even call me moomoo,or the ever popular missy pissy.
One friend calls me piss pot ,to this day.

So when i went to register here,i tried moomoo,and it wasnt available,so i thought...wellllll,ghosts....booo ???!!
So i just said mooboo would do for this board..

My screen name has a bit of a long story as well....ravenhecate is part of my longer Wiccan name Raven Hecate-Ana Spiritdancer. I have been called Raven for many many years, basically since most of my friends at the time and I read Marion Zimmer Bradley's Mists of Avalon. I guess I identified with the character of Raven in the book. I guess it was also a bit of an opposite thing as well, since the character took a vow of silence in the book, and I was always the most verbiose one in the group (go figure). Over the years the raven has become one of my totems (I have three, the wolf, the raven and the cougar).
I have bit of a trickster nature in some respects, and Loki of the Norse Myths is one of my primary deities. The raven is noted as being a trickster in many Native American myths.

Hecate is also one of my primary deities.

Ana is a minor water spirit tied to a river near where I was born.

Spiritdancer comes from the fact that I have been in touch with my spirit guide since I was three years old, and so I have been dancing with the spirits since I was very young.

My real name is Rhonda

Mine is Japanese for 'fairy'. I have an interest in Japanese culture and I look a lot like most people's conception of a fairy, so it just seemed pretty obvious.

Everyone thinks mine is so foreign and exotic and wants to know what country it originates from.

My real name is Deanna and on most boards I use deelynna (Dee is a nickname, lynn a middle name and a is the initial of my last name). But on here I wanted something different so I took my daughters initials of their first, middle and last name and combined them. Their initials are S.E.A and K.L.A....so SEAKLA. lol

Well Blue has always been my FAVORITE color, and although i'm quiet and shy on the outside i'm really a happy and outgoing person if you get to know me :]

So I thought...JollyBlue? It's also like an oxymoron, Jolly being happy yet Blue being sad or down? But yeah i've had that name for a while now :3
