Names and Meanings

Anyways, to start I was using a couple of different names which showed how young I was when I was about twelve along with a creative nickname of one of my roleplay characters as a user name. Anyways, I joined IMVU and discovered there was a roleplay community on there. So I decided to make two characters for a Harry Potter roleplay, twins who utterly depended on each other named Aileen and Athan Nyx.
When I moved them to another board, I had to play them together because that was how they were made. But I didn't want a long username that had both of their names in it. So I instead just used their last name, Nyx. Nyx is the Greek goddess of the night and since I wanted them to be from a greek dark family it seemed appropiate.
Now, as to why my nickname is Night, when there is an option for a username and a nickname, I always make the nickname different. I thought immediately of Night since one of my characters goes under the name of Lady Night, an assassin. However, I also picked Night because it is only within the night that I can be my true self.
As for my real name... It is actually Raven which always translates to crow. So i sometimes use crow as my username and oddly enough, it became one of my totems because my Dad named me Raven.

Photography is one of my dearest hobbies and some of my pics can be found from dA, http://eatnama.deviantart.com/ . I have more on my own site, but it's only in Finnish...
Vaskitsa is a bit more difficult to explain... I just like the sound of it and chose it as my domain name back in 2004 and have been using it as a screen name ever since, too. Also I kind of like the idea of Anguis fragilis; they look like snakes, but they're actually legless lizards... Everything's not as it seems
My real name is Heli, a sort of Finnish version of the name Helen.

I have bit of a trickster nature in some respects, and Loki of the Norse Myths is one of my primary deities. The raven is noted as being a trickster in many Native American myths.
Hecate is also one of my primary deities.
Ana is a minor water spirit tied to a river near where I was born.
Spiritdancer comes from the fact that I have been in touch with my spirit guide since I was three years old, and so I have been dancing with the spirits since I was very young.
My real name is Rhonda

My real name is Deanna and on most boards I use deelynna (Dee is a nickname, lynn a middle name and a is the initial of my last name). But on here I wanted something different so I took my daughters initials of their first, middle and last name and combined them. Their initials are S.E.A and K.L.A....so SEAKLA. lol
