Virginia City Paranormal Conference, 19-20 March
Virginia City, NV

Virginia City is Nevada's most haunted city, and quite possibly one of the country’s most haunted as well. Virginia City has a fascinating history. Seances were held regularly on the Comstock of the 1800s. While on his Sandwich Island lecture tour, Mark Twain witnessed the hanging of John Millian (convicted killer of Julia Bulette) During the mid 20th century Virginia City was a writers' enclave of sorts. Several famous writers lived here, including Walter Van Tilburg Clark and Lucius Beebe.

If you love the Comstock's rich history and hauntings join us on March 19-20 2010 at the Silverland Inn & Suites for the Virginia City Paranormal Conference for. Come explore Virginia City; meet other ghost enthusiasts and history buffs.

Special guests will be Darkness Dave Schrader, Sharon and Anne Leong, Richard Silva, and a special appearance by Virginia Ridgway (caretaker Goldfield Hotel.) Tickets for the event are $79.

Who owns the land? Only the land knows. We mortals are passersby, and our lives are but a brief moment in the great span of time and space. We are born, we live out our lives, and most of us do the best we can with it, but the wind is forever, and the rivers flow forever to the sea, and all the seasons of the weathers will come and go after we are gone. But the Earth endures, the Earth is eternal" - Earl Hamner
