Mary King's Ghost Fest 2009
March 18-23
Edinburgh, Scotland UK

The award winning Mary King’s Ghost Fest will be back in 2010 at a new time of the year! As always the festival will be packed year with a program of events will kept the most avid of ghost hunters and the most serious of skeptics entertained for hours…perhaps the darker nights of March will draw out more of Edinburgh's spooky residents? Every year the festival offers a wide range of exciting events which allow people the opportunity to explore and examine under supervision the truly ‘haunted’ nature of extraordinary Edinburgh.

This year highlights include medium Chris Conway (from Living TV's Most Haunted) visit The Real Mary King's Close for the first time, a Scottish first as Dr Ciaran O'Keeffe and Steve Parsons bring their 'So You Want To Be A Ghost Hunter' workshop north of the border and many new and favorite locations open their doors for overnight vigils - Blair Street Vaults, Damnation Alley, the Dalmahoy Hotel and Scotch Malt Whisky Society vaults are just a few of the highlights!

Who owns the land? Only the land knows. We mortals are passersby, and our lives are but a brief moment in the great span of time and space. We are born, we live out our lives, and most of us do the best we can with it, but the wind is forever, and the rivers flow forever to the sea, and all the seasons of the weathers will come and go after we are gone. But the Earth endures, the Earth is eternal" - Earl Hamner
