I got this idea from Mykie in another thread.  I have heard many "stupid" warnings from products, and thought it would be fun to post some of these.

For external use only! -- On a curling iron

Do not use while sleeping. -- On a hair dryer

Caution: Do not spray in eyes.-- On a container of underarm deodorant

May irritate eyes. -- On a can of self-defense pepper spray

Warning: May contain small parts. -- On a frisbee

Not suitable for children aged 36 months or less. -- On a birthday card for a 1 year old

Caution: Remove infant before folding for storage. -- On a portable stroller

I have to wonder, if anybody has actually done these things to warrant such a warning.   ;)

They are the result of frivolous lawsuits!

You miss one on the hair dryer:  Do not use while bathing.

I think the most disturbing one I ever read was "Do not use suppositories in eyes."  What an image!
I also liked the one on a Slinky-- "Do not throw from the window of a moving vehicle".  One only wonders why this isn't on bowling balls and frying pans as well!

Maybe that's for people who are lactose intolerant.

You really can't get any more redundant than cigarette label warnings. Like, isn't it obvious smoking's bad for you? Who needs a label?

The irony is that normally (commonly on UK foods) you get the warning of

'may contain nuts,'

but they couldn't use THAT one because the cereal was Clusters and therefore the main bulk IS nuts!!

And that stopped them?  I've seen sleeping pills with 'may cause drowsiness'!  Well, I should hope so!
