Hi guys-

Krc and I live in a very small town in northern Minnesota, population 1200. On Saturday evening a 5yr old girl named Leann Warren went missing. She was going to a neighbors house, who wasn't home, and hasn't been seen since. I know that when I came to you with my neices accident all of your thoughts and prayers really helped so I was hoping that maybe it would help her also. You don't usually think about things like this happening in a small town. KRC and I have three children of our own and have thought "that easily could have been one of ours". So if you all would send your positive thoughts and prayers that she will be found safe and returned to her parents. Thank you all and I will keep you updated.   :'(

ohmigosh, nonnie.

This little 5-year-old went off by herself to visit some neighbors??  Unescorted??? On a Saturday night???   And the adults didn't know???

That's awful--and so scary.  Her family must feel terrible.

Best wishes that the little girl comes home safe to her family.   :-[

Thanks all for your thoughts. I guess they brought in a psychic and she said that she is lost in the woods and injured.  :-/  Also you have to remember that we live in a very small town in northern Minnesota and have a false sense of security. Her parents knew that she was going over to the neighbors. Before this happened my 4 year old would go over to the neighbors house all the time by himself.

My prayers and thoughts are with the family...I understand about small towns, we almost never lock the door and I'm just now letting my daughter go to the neighbors by herself if they're in yelling distance, she's 7

It is so sad in this day and time or any time we have to bolt the door, put bars on the windows and doors and finger print our children just to be safe. You never really feel safe. I live alone and the though is always there
" what if "

I pray for Leann's safe return :'(

That is so sad nonnie...my thoughts and prayers are with the little girl and her family.

I guess living in a small town doesn't have those "safe benefits" like they used to. I started staying home without a babysitter when I was like 8...nowadays parents wouldn't even dream of living a child that age by themselves. It's a shame...

Keep us updated nonnie!
