I've been reading this string and also read over the string about Infra-sound and detecting 20Hz and lower.

I'm very new at these frequencies and what they mean, but I am sure I am being "talked to" in the infra-sound range and want to pick this up and record it.

I'm not a technical gal and am pretty low-income, so my situation is how to record more cheaply than buying something off the shelf.

I have a computer microphone and a regular 'ole Dell computer on broadband. Does anybody have suggestions of how I may start to understand and invest in picking up sound in the low frequency range? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! : )
