Hi everyone! I need your help again, but this time we're not looking for battery drain reports (although we still want those, so don't forget to send them in!).

I want to hear about the haunted trees in your area. I know that many communities have them, so if yours is one of them, I ask that you please stop by and fill out a haunted tree report for me. The form is quick and easy, and should only take a couple minutes, but would help me immensly with my research.

Thanks in advance!

What exactly do you mean by haunted trees? There is a spot close to where I live where people claim to see apparitions of hanging victims as they drive by. Would that be the sort of thing you're looking for?

That's okay! Maybe the next book I work on will be something that is in your area :(

There are lots of these trees in FL, at least that I've found. Here are a few:

The 'Devil's Tree,' Port Saint Lucie, FL
Wiccademous Grave, Fernandina Beach, FL
Dead Man's Oak- Kissimmee, FL
Hanging Man Tree, Island Vista Estates, North Fort Myers, FL
Boston Hill Cemetery, Oviedo, FL (Hanging Tree)
Dead Man's Tree, Winter Garden, FL
Sword Tree, Blackrock, (Twin Ponds), FL

I have to research but during the early history of the town Ozona there was to be reported of a tree used for hangings. It's been awhile since I first heard about it, have to get back to you on this one.

Pebble Beach, Calif has its "ghost tree." But from what I've heard, the lady in lace doesn't haunt the tree itself, but the road around the tree.
