Oh my gosh, Akthra! That is good news, I hope she will be able to recover from treatment, and especially that your wife is successful with her non smoking campaign.

Hello everyone! I am posting this on behalf of a very special friend of mine, who happens to be an integral part of our Village. Who is having a tough time emotionally since a close friend is suffering from Cancer to the Brain, and says there is NO WAY OUT! S lets put our PRAYERS together and ask the Good LORD to give the very best for this person (our Villager's friend) - whatever that means Thank You

Well, tomorrow is the day. My step mother goes in for a tissue biopsy of one of her lymph nodes. The doctors had done a scan and found one to be abnormally large. If it is clean, then they are going directly in to cut out the cancerous tumor portion of her left lung. After that, she is cured according to the doctors since it is no where else in her system- no radiation, no drugs, wala! ...... But, if ther is cancer in her lymph node.... they will send her home.... she has 4-6months.
My wife and I will be at the Hospital in Madison tomorrow, so no posting for me.

Welp! Things went well. They found no problem with the first lymph nodes and continued on to remove the upper lobe of her left lung. They did find another lymph node that looked suspicous to them but they did not freeze it and check it right then and there. They should know later next week on the lymph node. But everything else wooked good and she was doing fine later on in the day.
WOOT!
Thanks everyone, she may not be completely out of the woods but I think the worst is over.
