Hey, Gail. Good to see another newbie. Yeah, i figured that this would be a good sight for those of us that are into the supernatural. It's been my one true dream to be able to work in the field of the paranormal. Do you work in that field? ;)

Hey,
Alot of people don't believe in the paranormal, sometimes they have to see to believe, i guess. Cool, you should check out the book Most Haunted Places in the world, i think itz called, and fear. They're both interesting reads, i'm reading both at the moment myself.
I'm in my final year of school too, my exams start in 2 weeks, the HSC. Would love to chat more, would you like to exchange email addy's?

Hello Everyone

I am also very new to this board, in fact this is my first post. I was very excited to discover this site, because as long as I can remember, I have been very interested in the paranormal. We lived in a haunted house for 13 years, and that just sparked my interest so much further.

I live in Potchefstroom, the oldest town in the old Transvaal in South Africa. Unfortunately, there are no ghost hunter teams in this area, or I would have joined them immediately. So I just read about ghosts and other paranormal stuff - because I am to scared to go on my own!! Anycase, in South Africa it is a very bad idea to hang around dark places at night, because the chance to be harmed by living things is very real!!!!

I am 31 year old, single, no kids, work at the local University as a scientist and live a very boring life ... which I love!

So, after being so warmly welcomed by this board (and Moonchild especially), I am looking forward
to a wonderful time here.

Regards,

Finn

Hey, Finn
Welcome. Hope you enjoy your time here. It's a good place to chat about the paranormal, or even meet others who are also interested in your area. Not that i have, as yet. I havn't seen any others from Australia. I've also lived in a haunted house, 2 actually. And visited a few others. IK've been interested in the paranormal for as long as i can remember. South Africa, aye? Cool.

Hello fellow ghostlovers,

My name's Isaac Stewart, and I am 16 years old. I'm from Canada, Prince Edward Island to be exact, and boy, do I love ghosts! I am by no means new to the subject of the paranormal, and have had a few experiences, stretching back to when I was about 4. :D

I just came across this site today, and could not believe my good fortune when I found there was a forum to join.

I look forward to some great times with everyone here, and hope to be able to participate in discussions and share my opinions.

Hi everyone - new to this - not sure how or where to start
interested in the para normal. had some wierd experiences whcih i can't explain.
main one was some years ago when the headboard of my bed went flying straight up the wall and fell on the bed while i was in bed. You could see the scrape marks up the wall where it had gone straight up before falling. The head board was impossible to move when i & my then husband tried to do so the next day. he still has the scars on his leg and the headboard is firmly screwed to the wall. Any ideas on why this happened
