Hey-yo, so everytime I log in I always see on the bottom left how the most ever GV members ever logged in was on July 2 2007. 657 GV'ers.
I was not a member yet but for those who were............
Why were there so many of you logged in that day???

Hmmmm, I can't remember.....I'll have to look back through the old stuff and see if I can find what it was.
I know that a few of Jeff's appearances on the Maury Show have actually crashed the site. It got to the point where we had to shut to boards down when he was going to be doing a tv appearance so as not to blow things up!

I do believe that Jeff was on several shows - both TV and radio - at that time. Also, back then we had wild chat sessions with scheduled topics.
I didn't lose my mind - I have it backed up on a disk ... somewhere

Yeah, I'm thinking that was one of the times Jeff was on Maury Povich. I was here that day and got booted out when the site crashed from all the guests! Aloha, I remember those scheduled chats as being a lot of fun.

Thanks for asking this question. I had always wondered about that too.
I was on one of my long absences from the site on that day so I had no idea but the number is definitely wow-worthy.

Perhaps it can be when we get an upgrade. But I believe that if we tried right now, we would end up crashing the boards and possibly the whole site.
Jeff is working on a upgrade and hopefully his busy schedule will allow him to implement it soon. Then we'll see if we can top the 657!
