Hi GV! Long time, no type.

I finally got to spend a night at the infamous Rider's Inn, back in February...

The only experience was in the morning, after having coffee with the owners I decided to go back to the room to wake my wife. As I approached the steps, I saw a shadowy figure on the landing get up and take off. Paranormal, or just sleepy eyes? Not sure. But worth sharing. I'll be going back in a couple week, so we'll see what happens.

Duke, Good to hear from you again. Julie and myself have stayed at Riders Inn many times because it's right down the road from me. I know the owner very well and she treats all of her guests with royalty! It is a very nice place to stay at. What room did you stay in? Room 11 is the better of all the rest of them. I'm glad you had a good time there. Thank you for your thoughts about Julie. She is always with me! Dave

That's the room we had. I didn't see or hear anything in the room, but I do recall waking up at night and have that feeling of being watched. I'll be going back this Saturday, but this time I'll be bunking with my band mates in the 2 double rooms. We're playing at the Lake County History Center (also supposed to be Haunted, and featured on Paranormal State) this weekend, so we'll be crashing at the inn instead of driving back and forth. I didn't actually fill them in on the Inn's hauntings, and I'm not even sure if they believe, so it will be interesting to see if they report any activity.

Don't tell them that the Inn is haunted. Let them find out for themselves. What day will you be there? I will be there this Sunday! Keep your eyes and ears open in room 11. They seem to awake right around 3 a.m. Elaine Crane(the owner) is a very good friend of ours! She will treat and respect you while staying in her home. Dave

We'll be there Saturday night. It'll be interesting to see if the my band mates see or hear anything. Like I said, I'm not even sure they are believers in this stuff. Ghosts or not it's a nice place.

Well folks, I'm sorry to say that I experienced no paranormal activity during my stay at Riders Inn. However, it was a comfortable stay. All in my party had wonderful time.

I did meet and talk to a paranormal investigator. However, I did not see him in the morning. They must have slept in. I can't remember his name, to look him up either. So, I guess I'll never know if he got any evidence.
