Mom's blood count was too low and she had her irreguar heart beat. Anyway, she should be coming home today.

I have a doctor's appointment in a while. Scared because they must have gotten more results by now, and I think we will be discussing the port being put in and a cocktail of meds and chemo coming up.

My favorite tv shows are Ghost Hunters, America's Most Haunted, I Shouldn't be Alive, anything on the Discovery Health Channel, Myth Busters, Desperate Houswives, Grey's Anatomy, House, American Idol, Trading Spouses, The Simpsons, Family Guy, King of the Hill. But I obviously don't watch any tv. I also enjoy making new, pretty medic alert braclets, and earrings.

How'd the doctor's appointment go? Did you get a date for your port? Any ideas on treament?
How's your mom doing?
I'm thinking of you and sending you healing vibes. Let us know how things are going when you get a second to catch your breath and aren't too tired.

An up-date. I have been through 11 chemo treatments. I have one more, then a test, then possibly another 6-8 weeks of more chemo either the same or different meds. Then a lumpectomy and radiation.

It has been a long road since July and my journey continues. Much of the time I am weak and tired and sleep a lot. I have been quite the warrior through most of this and kept a positive attitude, though sometimes it is tough. Somewhere I know there is a light at the end of the tunnel. That's all for now.

Just realized the last message in here was from our dear angel Lexi and I never got to answer her.

Once again, my Mom is back in the hospital. It is difficult enough being sick myself then having to find Mom passed out on the floor at 1:30am. I got a call from her life-line.

This has been like 4 times throughout my treatments that something happens with my Mother. She is 88. Prayers and good vibes and whatever you guys might have for the both of us is much appreciated at this time.

Thank you so much!!!! Mom is home now. I have an ultra sound tomorrow then the oncologist will decide wether or not I will have 6-8 more chemo treatments, then an operation and radiation down the road.

Night Star, you don't know me at all but I want you to know that my prayers are with you every day. I've been watching my sister go through what you're doing now. She's on the radiation part now, after doing the chemo. The cancer is gone!
Her biggest and loudest advice is a positive attitude with avoiding all stress. Just walk away from negative people, she says. Get some Laurel and Hardy movies or what ever kind of movies make you laugh. And most of all, surround your self with the people who love you most.
There's the healing angels that MoonChild mentioned, plus of course Alexa (our special angel) no doubt, sending healing light your way, and all the prayers of the GVers here. I believe in prayer!
