Been awhile since I've posted any encounters... But so y'all know: I'm currently a nightshift (2:30-11 pm) custodian for the Carlisle Area School District, I'm somewhat sensitive to the paranormal, and slightly empathic. That said, on to what happened tonight at work!

My coworkers and I have the fun task of cleaning the Swarner mansion every Tuesday and Thursday. (By virtue of us being the closest school to the darn thing... Yippee... Trust me, whole 'nother story on why we got stuck with it.) Well, when we went in tonight, I smelled what to me smelled like a very nice chew tobacco, kinda cherrywood scented at the back end of the 1st floor hallway. We divvied up tasks, and I started going and getting trash, and the scent had moved up the hall to the Resistrar's office. I mentioned it to Judy and Jo, and went on about doing what we had to in order to tidy up the building. Maybe... 30 minutes later, we're back downstairs finishing up, I notice the sme smell, further up by the entranceway, comment on it again, and Judy brushes it off as just being the cherry furniture. Maybe it was, but I would have noticed it being that strong and in more than just that hallway, because the wood's through the entire building. Who knows? Maybe the house is haunted, maybe it's just too dang close to I-81.

Cry Havoc! And let loose the Dobermans of war!

My knitting and crocheting blog.

Life is too short to take seriously, none of us get out of it alive.

Each morning when I open my eyes I say to myself: I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be.Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it.
