I know several people were wanting to know how Alexa's memorial service went this past Saturday, so I thought I'd get a topic started. I just drove in from Colorado about an hour ago, and I still need to unpack and download quite a few pictures from several cameras. Please be patient, as I want to do a thorough writeup of everything.

I'm sure her family is also posting pictures on both her Facebook page and the Facebook memorial page, so be sure to check there too!

While you're waiting, here's an incredible song and video tribute that was played at the service:

I was totally blown away when I saw what some of Alexa's friends had done to recognize all of her friends on Ghost Village and several other forums where she was member. They went onto the boards and copied every last tribute they could find and put them on poster board.

Click on the thumbnails to get an idea of how they looked:

Puti, when I first introduced myself, I told the audience I was there representing the nearly 30,000 registered users of Ghost Village, and it felt like every one of them was in that chapel last Saturday!

Earth, thank you so very much for sharing this moment with those of us that couldn't be at Lexi's service. My heart is broken but I know she's in no pain but I'm also missing our talks. Thank you again earth, that was such a beautiful service

I didn't have the pleasure of knowing her, but what a beautiful and kind person she seemed to be. I remember when I joined Ghost Village, I saw her pic and her nickname and thought how much she reminds me of my little sister.

OK, I know I said I was going to do a write up on the service, so I'm posting a reminder to myself so I don't get caught up in all the holiday madness that surrounds us this time of the year.

In the meantime, here's a picture of the neat little chapel where Alexa's memorial service was held.
