I'm still barely kicking around the idea of posting a link to my old recordings on Soundcloud here. My main argument against it is that this is a paranormal site, it's not for self-promotion (like some people do...here and on FB)(no, I'm not talking about poems and things like that!) I would gladly post the link in my profile, but from what I've read, it's not possible since this site's "upgrade".

If anybody's tempted to put their ears thru a few minutes' torture, speak up. I'll find a way to make the page on Soundcloud accessible. Think long and hard about it - do you really want to poke your eardrums out with a rusty nail?

I think the best way to get you to inflict my recordings on yourself (and possibly others on this site) is this:

If anybody wants to hear these old recordings of mine and send me a PM requesting the link, I will reply with the link to the page...this way, I'm not cluttering up a paranormal site with shameless self-promotion. I'm not doing this for any other reason than to share. Originally, some people who've heard these tapes (and are still on speaking terms with me) have asked me when I was going to put them onto the internet. Many months of hemming and hawing later, I decided to just go ahead with it. I do put the link up on my FB page, but I'm not getting nearly as much feedback (good or bad or indifferent) as I'd hoped - but they ARE available.

But - and it's an important "but" - I am not a singer. I used to be an "alright" guitar player, and an even worse keyboard player (I'd be lost without the "auto chord" function!). I made most of the recordings on that site as a hobby...not looking for fame and fortune or anything like that. Only a select few had heard these tapes when I originally made them. Now, they are available to anybody who wants to hear them. So feel free to PM me, and get that rusty nail (or, trusty ice pick) handy. You might be able to "un-hear" them, but it might be harder to forget them.

Even if no one else appreciates your music it's important for you to express it.
My children thought I was the greatest violinist on the planet. But what's important is the passion inside of us, whether it's writing or art or music that needs to be let out! If only for our own enjoyment.

Sorry you had the flu, WW and hope you are doing much better. My oldest had it, but he's better now as well.

Hey guys been semi busy looking for a second job, different car and a court case that will not go away lol... WW sorry you were sick it is going around.
I had an allergic reaction to get this LIP BALM! Im not sure if it was the nivia or blistic (ok cant spell it) but my darn lips swelled, cracked and bleed and it was effecting my breathing. I went to the hospital and they litterly left me with cemical burns on my lips and around them! was on anti botic, steroids, lip numbing stuff (cant remember the name) and it took almost 3 weeks but they are finally almost 100 percent the corners are still a bit chapped... who would have thought! I kept swelling and using them thinking it was moisturizing them! oh well.. just my luck.. if dont have bad luck Ide have no luck at all..
I joined the porch on fb it is great to see so many familure faces on there

Sorry that happened to you, Cathy. I know the Mick Jagger look is not always wanted, especially if it's due to an allergic reaction. I hope you are back to kissing again really soon.
What is "The Porch"? Is that the title under which that page can be found?
