She had a staph infection on her righ eyebrow and it turned into that MRSA strain, if I'm correct on the name abbreviation. She was in the hospital for five days and got out Monday. Man, she was ready to get out. She was doing teacher duties via laptop much of the time she was there.
You're welcome, White Witch. 50: I'll be there in June. I'm too immature to be fifty, but the body keeps reminding me that I'm getting there.

Glad to see that your wife is getting out of the hospital, jimmary. Those infections are sneaky buggers.
Yeah...I'll be 50 in December. And, like you guys, my mind is going "Hey, remember doing this?" and my body painfully says "stop that!". There are days when I feel like a 20 year old, but the 20 year olds want nothing to do with a geezer like me. (buh-dum!)
Thank you...I'll be here all week. Enjoy the rest of the show. The cook recommends the veal.

Thank you, meanderer. A student who had it came back to class after his abscence and what do you know...she gets it the week he came back. It's a coincidence, but it just goes to show its all around. And yes, my mind thinks the same way, but the body doesn't recognize the age at which my mind operates. I can still do strength-related whatevers, but agility is a long-gone memory...I think.
Where can we get tickets to your gig, meanderer? VEAL?! Well, if it annoys someone...I'll take two. And can I watch?

Have a good time tonight.
jimmary, that MRSA is everywhere. A couple of high school kids in Franklin were in hospital for days VERY sick, I think last year. Good to hear your wife is home and on the mend.

If I can join you guys, I'll be the teetotaler. No funky beliefs about drinking: beer never agreed with my taste buds and I only drink at home.

That MRSA is nasty stuff - good thing people seem to catch it in hospitals. I joke about it, but it really isn't a joking matter.

Meanderer you just think all of us don't know what bangers and mash are.
Does this place compare to Ireland at all? Food etc.? Might have to visit next year.
Yes, be good and take care.

Yes, that MRSA is a butt-kicker. My wife has been going to bed almost as soon as she gets home from school, so I amend my previous statement to Puti to that she NOT exactly 100%, but she's trying to get there. And meanderer, MRSA is serious, but both my wife and I joke about her experience with it. Actually, I say everything can be made fun of, but there may be a time and place for that. I usually make fun of myself in whatever situation comes along, but I know not everyone does that.
I would love some bangers and mash; that's along the lines of chicken-fried steak and mashed potatoes here in Texas, though we are about sausage as well, especially in the German and Czech areas.
Puti, we will be going on a Sunday as those are the tickets my wife purchased yesterday at a very good price. She bought ten to either utilize, sell, or give out. We were probably going to go to the Christmas-themed weekend, but Barbarian weekend is this coming weeken. I can just go in my underwear and look the part.
Puti, do you live anywhere near Plantersville? We are about forty-five minutes from there.
