I've heard of cases where cell phones of deceased people make calls to someone's house but never to 911/police before.

I'm sure there's a technical explanation to this...but it'd be cool if it the call was coming from the other side.

Trying to take a rational explanation side here, I think it could potentially be hacking or something similar to Clovis Wolfe Manor in California. Apparently the cut phones lines were sending a 911 signal to the police department. I saw on a show an explanation that the lines were programmed to send signals at a specific intervals and come back as 911 if there is a break.
Is it technical or paranormal? Who knows. A paranormal involvement would be cool, though.
