On April 25, 1973 the town of Enfield, Illinois experienced a bizarre series of events involving a purported three-legged being known only as The Enfield Horror. Henry McDaniel had a firsthand experience with the Enfield Horror.

"According to McDaniel, he was at home on the evening of April 25 when he heard a scratching on his door. When he opened it, he couldn't believe his eyes! 'It had three legs on it,' McDaniel swore, ' as short body, two little short arms coming out of its breast area and two pink eyes as big as flashlights. It stood four and a half to five feet tall and was grayish-colored. It was trying to get into the house.'"

Here is an interesting theory, originally purposed by Loren Coleman, on what exactly the Enfield Horror could have been.

The theory makes a lot of sense, truth be told. And not to give too much away, but that is a darn cute little Horror in that second article. How freaky, though. I can't imagine opening the door to that unexpectedly. Especially back in the 1970s. Wonder what all the 'UFO activity' was.

The theory makes great sense. I can't help but wonder though, with the way the Enfield Horror was described, is it possible that it was an albino Kangaroo these people saw? Albinos are rare, yeah, but we know that they do occur and when they are in the wild they have a lesser chance of survival. Which could explain why the Enfield Horror has not been seen since. Perhaps some of the Kangaroos mated and produced albino offspring.

Not to mention the fact that it was a small town in the 1970s, so it's possible that most if not all of these people have never seen a kangaroo, let alone an albino one.

I'm not sure but the article gives quite a number of sources that I am going to look into at a later time. Perhaps they could shed light on the "UFO activity" during that time.
