I am sure that the people of somerset would love to give you it Cryscat. They are flooded under and there is more rain on the way. Our local river has burst its banks but fortunatly we are far enough away that it will not reach here.

I'm a California girl, so this long winter is getting to me, especially since I'm kinda stuck at home these days! Cabin fever, oh heck yea!!!

Another Pythoner...and female at that.
leslie, I guess I'm one of the few who never suffers from cabin fever. My wife hates being confined by the cold, wet stuff we have in the Houston area, but me bees happy with it. It will clear and warm up this week, though. Booo.

In southern Connecticut, everybody seems to be in a panic about the predicted 8-12" of more snow. Personally, I'm not dreading it (although I don't like snow, complaining about it doesn't keep it from falling)...but there's a good chance I'll call out of work anyway (because I can). :)

Dammit, meanderer; as 'Mericans we have the right to compalin about things over which we have no controll, like my gut size (among other sizable things), tight, binding underwear, that guy over there, and the depth of one's snow.
I know mo' snow is a no-no to yo' on the go....go.

Sounds like we will be getting some snow tomorrow. Just what we really didn't need.
Right this way to my haunted space.

I've already gone out early to shovel off the added snow we'd gotten overnight (didn't I already shovel this crap yesterday?), which was on top of a nice layer of ice. Of course, the obligatory mounds of snow at the end of the driveway, that the snow plow seemed to think I needed. Thank you, Mr Plow! Today, we're expecting temps in the mid 30s, possibly low 40s, which will melt some of the snow we got yesterday...but we should be getting a few more inches of fresh snow tomorrow. Woohoo! (that was sarcasm, in case you missed it) But again, it's all part of the yearly cycle, so I'm not really complaining. So what if my legs, arms and back are sore after my snow shovel ballet? It's all part of the cycle (if I keep telling myself that, it won't seem so bad, right?)

LOL, CaveRat. Has anyone volunteered?
soulrunner, use a straw.
WW, unfortunately we are done with our cold weather for about a week. It will be in the 70's, which means now I'll have to do stuff outside. D.a.m.n. it!
