On Sunday 11 May 2014, NBC will air a remake of the movie Rosemary's Baby. Zoe Saldana is in the role made famous by Mia Farrow in 1968. This time around, though, the movie is a three night mini-series allowing for a more fully fleshed out story, unlike the original which had to be confined to the typical 2 hours for a theatre movie.

This show looks pretty interesting. I am a huge horror fan. I'll be the 1st to say...I hated the movie but this show...I'll give it a chance.

Perhaps this time it will be better because it's more than 2 hours? I read that Roman Polanski made a 4 hour movie, but in the end had to pare it down for the theatres.

I wonder if the miniseries will do a better job at following the book?

I'll admit, I loved both the book and the original movie, so I'm looking forward to the television miniseries and seeing how it compares to both.
