Not sure how to word this so here it goes. I'm a Mormon and I'm getting into investigations of haunted locations. I'm what the morons call a seerer, I can 'feel' spirits, have dreams of the futures and even seen one of our angels recently at a investigation during a cleansing to help a very tortured spirit move on. I'm joining a new team and after seeing my boyfriend (lead investigator of another team) get an attachment and needing a exorcism I'm thinking of learning these skills to be ready if needed. I'm wondering as a Mormon I can gain these skills but also as woman as in the Mormon church women don't hold the priesthood. I'm in Sydney Australia if u know anyone around here that could help. Thanx.

So you want to learn how to do exorcisms? It can be a very dangerous thing. I know very little about the LDS church or Mormonism. I would assume their rites and rituals are different than protestant exorcisms or Cathorlic exorcisms. In my faith you have to be called to the position, and given that authority by God. There are also different levels of an exorcism.

If your church doesn't support women in this position then taking the lead and doing this yourself could land you in serious trouble with your church. Is that a risk you are willing to take?

I am really curious about the attachment. In all my years of investigations I have never had an attachment. I did have a very serious problem with a demon, but that was completely unrelated to investigations. Was he and his team taking all proper precautions to protect themselves on this investigation?

Yes we were taking all precautions but it went for a tour guest with Down syndrome and he stepped in to protect her. This was during the full moon on Friday the 13th. And thanx for the answer.

Was it an investigation or was it a tour? Define "going after" the person with Downs.

It was a investigation from our part but the hotel we were at had organised paying guests to go along with us. I can't really define go after we sensed that the entity had 'noticed' the lady with down was open I guess and tried to go for her, attack could be another word I guess. So he tried to stop it.

Ah okay, makes sense. I don't know if you have heard, but the LDS church just defellowshiped an American woman who was pushing for priestthood for women. Not exactly what you are wanting, but close enough for you to keep that in your mind while looking into this.

Yes I have heard that. Basically all I'm after is the skills to do what needs to be done if anything happens. Be prepared for anything type thing. Thanx heaps.

neither here nor there but funny.

Told to me by a number of Mormons I've worked with over the years....

"Never invite a Mormon to go fishing. He will drink all your beer. Always invite two Mormons to go fishing. They will keep an eye on each other and you can enjoy your beer."

The only difference between Socialism and National Socialism is the snappy uniforms. - Logan "Aside from ending Slavery, Fascism and Communist World Domination, War has never solved anything!""For it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' "Chuck him out, the brute! But it's "Savior of 'is country" when the guns begin to shoot." - Rudyard Kipling"People sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf."---George Orwell"Always Remember-All Lessons in Life are Expensive.....and the last one costs you everything you have." - Logan"Socialism is just Communism without a Dictator....and you can always find a Dictator!" - Logan"An Armed Man is a Citizen.
