I voted People Under The Stairs! Well, for one or the other reason, couldn't really relate to that movie in the given list.

*two thumbs down* People under the stairs..I can't believe Wes Craven wrote and directed it <_<
Either write things worth reading,
Or do things worth the writing.

Well, has anyone seen Halloween 4...THAT was a bad movie...Micheal Myers wasn't even in it....I waited for him to show up for like half of the movie until it hit me that he wasn't lol...that was the one about the "shamrock" halloween mask that when worn at midnight on Halloween turned your body into bugs and snakes and hat sort of thing.....such a bad movie....

I liked all the movies in the poll.

But anyways the worst horror movie I ever saw was April Fools Day! What a joke.

A movie that I was really disappointed in was The Haunting. I thought that they could have done SO much more with that. The original was a true classic & really scared the bejeebers out of us & it was all implied fright, the best kind if you ask me. I would like to see someone make a movie that has that kind of fright in it.....no blood & guts just simple implied fright with a really good music score to go along with it.

Kats...AGREED! Ugh, what horrid, mediocre crap.

Another one that should be added to the list:

Manos: The Hands of Fate (it is quite funny on MST3K, but I don't think that was the intent of the filmmaker :D )

Other really crappy ones are those put out by Dark Castle productions: Ghost Ship, the 13 Ghosts remake, House on Haunted Hill remake, Fear Dot Com. Ugh.

The Creeping Terror (where the monsters were actually dogs with pieces of carpet thrown on them)

Now, I have to DISAGREE with some of the choices for bad horror movies. Night of the Living Dead is a classic that influenced the genre immensely. It's not even in the same class as, say, Halloween H2O. Friday the 13th (the original) is good for what it was. Carrie, Scream, and Poltergeist are also quite good, IMHO. People Under the Stairs is a comedy (and was intended to be one).
