September 21st is the Autumn Equinox, long known as a day of power in the year. You might see/hear/feel more tomorrow than usual if you are out investigating......

I thought the first day of Autumn was Wed. Sept.22?

according to my calendar here on my desk the first day of fall is wednesday the 22nd.

Equinox I guess is the EVE, not the first day of the season. In our calenders too it is the eve that is considered equinox.
