Masquarade, I don't think I would crow too loud about the BBC's standards...not with CBS on this side of the pond...

I wasn't crowing, trust me, I have no faith in any news organization. I tend to be a highly sarcastic person and every once in awhile it comes bubbling to the top

I agree with Masq on this one. That is really sick! It only takes, what, 30 days for frogs to go from eggs to tadpoles to frogs? Don't frogs need water to do all this. Don't think there's enough water anywhere in a woman's body to accomplish this. Sick, just ewwwwww!

Actually we are over 90% water, but this? No couldn't happen. Even if a human egg were fertilized by frog sperm, or a frog egg fertilized by human sperm, the egg would self abort as the number of chromosomes don't match.

Like I said: Can you say Birth Defect? She didn't carry to term because the fetus was malformed and died inutero. This is a country where, for generations people are kept backwards by oppression. She may not have been married and to that carries a death sentence. Wouldn't it be easier/safer to say that you were impregnated in a swimming pool?

WOULDN'T A WOMAN HAVE TO HAVE SEX WITH A FROG OR HAVE FROG SPERM INPLANTED INTO A WOMAN...DON'T THINK IT COULD HAPPEN DUE TO THE DIFFERENCE IN THEIR DNA.

Yup Yup, well if anything of it has a trace of reality. Chances are, it's exactly as D_Burt put it in her response.

A real human woman?

Yup, a real human woman. And they were real rabbity rabbits. A real birth, though? Now that caused a lot of consternation. Click on the link for more info or Google for 'Mary Toft'.

According to the info on the 'Net, some "eminent doctors" vouched for her. Makes you think.
