Hello, my name is Justin, I am new here. I live nearby Camp CT, literally 5 minutes away. I recently went to Trinity Church in Brooklyn, CT and was looking up more "haunted" places. I stumbed upon Camp CT and read every post in this topic. I decided to take a look for myself last night at midnight. I went with one other person, and we went a few good miles into the place.
At first, we came up on a lake. The sound of bullfrogs is very loud, and there was a small patch of fog over the lake. We felt a few rain drops, but it was a pretty clear night. The lake has a trail going all around it. We went right. We saw a dumpster and a few old truck beds in the bushes. As we continued on, we got to a pavillion area. This place was kind of freaky, as there were objects falling from the trees onto the roof of the place, but there are only pine trees surrounding the area. Acorns don't fall from pine trees.
We checked the place out for a while, and eventually went further. A little ways down the trail, there is a huge pile of brush and wood. We went past the pile, and ended up at what looked to be a worship area of some sorts. This place was a clearing in the woods, started with a stone archway. You walk through the archway, and end up at a spot with many benches. Two columns of benches and a stone table and stone podium at the front. We sat there for a long time, just waiting and listening. After a few minutes, the feeling got a little different as we both got sort of restless. I had the feeling of being watched the entire time.
On the way out, we went down further to the lake. I walked right up to the waterline, and snapped a few pictures. At that point I got the chills, and got very cold. I stepped back from the lake, and took a few more pictures. I shook the feeling off, and my friend and I continued on. We both stopped in our tracks at the same exact time, and both saw a red light get brighter and brighter. It eventually moved and faded. At this point, I was freaked out a bit, and we started to leave. At the entrance gate, my hair on my arms were standing and I felt very weird. We got picked up soon after.
Now after looking at the pics, this place makes me really wonder. I will post them in a few.

The camp is just heavily used during the day and very often at night. I have been there plenty of times at night where no one is there. Recently I went there with a few people from the forums here at night. We set up a Ouija board for an hour or so and asked for any spirits, entities exc to use our energy to communicate via the board. When that failed we dared and taunted any spirit into communicating or showing a sign. We got nothing.
