You hit it straight on, prior to his surgery, he was the heart attack on a plate type and now its raw veggies and fruit :o DUDE...he couldn't even bring himself to eat it unless it was deep fried and dipped in chocolate

well, for whatever reason it sounds like your friend is eating healthy and is "taking to heart" the necessary change in his lifestyle.
i think a heart transplant is about the ONLY thing that could make me give up lamb.
