I have learned that we all have our needs for space away from our "normal" friends.. a place where you won't be judged...

I have learned that if someone judges me, it's their personal issue, not mine

I have learned not to pre-judge other people and appreciate the meaning of 'walk a mile in my shoes'.

I have learned that insanity is heredity, you get it from your kids!
Ah. Well... I attended Juilliard... I'm a graduate of the Harvard business school. I travel quite extensively. I lived through the Black Plague and had a pretty good time during that. I've seen the EXORCIST ABOUT A HUNDRED AND SIXTY-SEVEN TIMES, AND IT KEEPS GETTING FUNNIER EVERY SINGLE TIME I SEE IT... NOT TO MENTION THE FACT THAT YOU'RE TALKING TO A DEAD GUY... NOW WHAT DO YOU THINK? You think I'm qualified? --BeetlejuiceI'm the ghost with the most, babe.--BeetlejuiceWe've come for your daughter Chuck--Beetlejuice

:don't know about how wise Frither actually is........all those years working as a head shrinker gave me a lot of experience in the "if you can't dazzle them with your knowledge, emit so much verbose psychobabble that they'll be too bumfuzzled to know otherwise department:  :)

I have learned that even when your worst fear comes to life, you can still find a way to survive it.

I have learned that life is much, much shorter than I thought it was when I was 20, and that sickness and death are not that choosy who they take or when, so I should never take anyone forgranted but make the most of every second in the company of those I care about.

very nicely put Billydew!!!

I have learned that many people around me think that they are better than me because they have more money or nicer houses or fancier cars or because of many other things... and I have also learned through much time and therapy that I just don't care!!!
Sometimes it's easier to beg for forgiveness than to ask for permission!!!

I have learned it's very easy to hurt others if you are not careful.

Thankyou for the compliment Midnight_Ravenhawk. I too have known the kind of people you describe, but with attitudes like theirs their opinions are really not worth giving the time of day to.

And neither is mine when I can't even spell your name correctly! So sorry, I'll try not to do that again.

I have learnt the importance of networking and meeting people. You just might need them later on if you want to advance career-wise.
