Pine Grove Cemetery in Ansonia is supposed to be haunted.  My boyfriend's uncle was recently buried there.  Savin Rock in West Haven is also supposed to be haunted by the spirit of a woman near the location of the old Casino restaurant.

Bethel High Shool-haunted by the spirits of students who comitted suicide there.

There are some sites on Connecticut haunts.  Let me know what you find out!!! :)

There are many places in CT that are Haunted! In fact, CT is one of the most active states in the US! CT's been through it all from before this nation became a nation there have been things going on here.  ;D We've investigated 79 location in CT thus far, and most with good results. Some of the best are along Rt. 53 - which runs from Fairfield on up to Danbury. Its the EXACT route taken by the invading British who burnt every town along their way so there's a lot of emotional activity along that way. There are also a number of Indian sacred grounds - which have now been turned into state parks. Go figure, people start reporting odd happinings there too.   :o

Hey Mr Fuzzy,

I am not sure of the exact site of the old Casino restaurant at Savin Rock, but it was( according to some old timers playing bacci ball near S.R.) one of the restaurants located at Savin Rock at the turn of the century.  West Haven was still a part of New Haven at the beginning of the 20th c and there was a grand amusement park there with log flume rides, a beautiful carousel, and a roller coaster.  Rich Victorian folks used to come to visit this park called White City.

According to one old gentleman a young girl named Darcy wanders on foggy nights wearing a yellow dancing dress.  He said there used to be a dance hall on site as well along with luxurious hotels.  He said the Casino rest. was also known as Wilcox's Restaurant.

This is all gone now.  The Victorian splendor has faded.  There are condos and shopping centers where this used to exist.  I have never seen Darcy for myself but you may be able to find out more from older folks around the area.

You can also find info on Savin Rock on the internet.  There is a site that shows old pictures and postcards from the turn of the century featuring the park I just told you about.

I would love to learn more.  Let me know what you find out!!! :)I think its right by where Jimmie's is today.

Mr. Fuzzy
Go to Old Wethersfield. I think its on Main StThe oldest grave stone is there. Its a huge Cemetery and we have gotten a lot of photos there. Also there is the old prison cemetery in the park next to DMV, the DMV use to be a prison...no stones but a plaque in the ground telling you the yrs the sight was used. we have gotten some very creepy pics there. The grave site is closer to the yahat club

Another good place is in Kensinton a little Cemetery off Mill St. I believe that is RT322, its a side rd across from the Citgo gas.

Also if your up for a road trip go to Coventry.. South St Cem. or Nathan Hale Cem on Lake St.
Get a map it should show the cem. locations.

Have fun, be safe :)

Hey Mr. Fuzzy,

Sounds like you've got a lot of grest places to go ghost hunting now!!! Those places Margaret mentioned sound interesting, too! I'll have to check them out next time I'm up in Ct.

Good luck at Savin Rock fiding out more info.  Don't forget to take your camera...you might get something.  That is cool that you were already going there every Friday.  Now you have a little more history of the place.

Have fun!!!
VW1 :) :)

Hi Dan, there is an old mental asylum that's believed to be haunted. I'm not sure of the exact location in Conn. I will find out for ya, unless someone else can tell you where it is before I get back to ya :)
