Hrmmmm....I'm REALLY not certain just what they are getting at. While I never thought a full blown passenger jet was what hit the Pentagon, especially after watching in horror when the jets hit the Twin Towers, the folks behind this website, while very VERY good at creating the mini film, simply are not clear as to just WHAT their conspiracy theory is.

Are they saying the Pentagon strike wasn't connected to the terrorist strikes in New York and the failed attempt that same day that ended up in a field in Pennsylvania? Or are they saying that the terrorists used a different method to hit the Pentagon and that the government isn't releasing the information for some reason?

I've seen that particular video before. I believe the folks behind that are mainly just anti-Bush and want to discredit the official story. I've heard a number of stories about "what really happened" and most of them try to say the attacks were perpetrated by our own government. The less extreme of these conspiracy theorists take it down a notch and claim that we could have stopped the attacks but didn't.

These folks use slipshod interpretations of the forensic evidence from the crash sights and something called the Northwoods Documents as their proof. The Northwoods Documents, for those who don't know, are a very real plan hatched during the sixties to create an incident that would make people think we were being attacked by Cuba so we could go to war. The plan involved planes crashing into things, but were designed so there would be no fatalities. The plan went unused, but was supposedly the blueprint used for the 9/11 attacks. While I have no doubt that our government lies to us and pulls all kinds of shady stuff, in my opinion the evidence as presented doesn't add up to the conclusion the conspiracy theorists would like us to reach. Not saying we've got the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but in the "official" version of the story, either, but I don't think anyone in our government deliberately set up or even allowed the attacks. They've just opportunistically used them to their own ends.

Crap, what's this stupidity that won't let me modify my own message? Anyway, forgot to add what various people claim hit the Pentagon (and some say the WTC as well). Namely, missiles and/or explosives of various sorts.

(....)
Want a HOT conspiracy?  I believe, (TRULY), that the head of Diebold, the manufacturer and operator of a very high proportion of last elections voting machines, faked the vote.  This is the only election I know of where the exit polls have disagreed so profoundly with the popular vote.  I think that Bush stole his second election.

Yes, precisely. Which is why the rightwingers were pushing so hard for the rolling-out of those machines in so many States between 2000 and 2004, while those on the political left were trying to fight the implementation of the machines because they left no paper trail and couldn't be audited.

Why, with the technology in 2004, could such machines NOT BE AUDITED? (Answer: because someone doesn't want them to be).

That, in addition to the "odd" turn in the numbers at the end of Election Day, and, as Markway states, the unprecedented skew in the exit polling vs. final vote, signaled a second steal by Bush43.

And the allegedly-liberal media, fatigued by dead-horse arguments over what happened in 2000 (and, frankly, frightened by the Machievellian strong-arm tactics of Rove and his Bush Whitehouse) let the entire 2004 issue drop the night of the election... They never even pursued it afterwards, despite some nervous jitters that evening from some reporters.

I am a Mason. A Past Master of a Masonic Lodge, actually and a former member of the Masonic Knights Templers. Any questions? Let em fly........

As far as being a 'drinking club for men', nothing could be further from the truth.

I joined the Masonic Order for it's history as a 'Mystical' Order, and have learned a great deal. There is no 'devil worship' in Freemasonry.

I opened a thread to answer serious questions here a while back on Freemasonry, and there were few takers. Don't say anything about Freemasonry unless you are a member of the Order, because otherwise your words have no weight, no basis in FACT.

I call it a 'drinking club for men' for no other purpose than to illustrate to those that feel the Masons are some kind of secret organization knee deep in every conspiracy out there that I feel they are off base.

My late Grandfather was a Mason. He was also a very much respected Anglican Minister. And was NOT knee deep in conspiracies.

Whether or not there's a conspiratorial group doesn;t matter a lot to me. No one, no matter how rich, powerful, intelligent (or whichever superlative you insert here) can thwart the will of god. Things have a way of working out exactly as they're supposed to. The laws of karma and dharma apply to everyone, no matter whom. No one can escape it.

Well, the individual, spirituality based beliefs of any one person certaintly doesn't take away my own interest in looking into the various and colourful conspiracy theories floating around.

This particular thread is for discussing the theories out there, not for preaching. If one catches your interest, for or against, feel free to indulge in expressing that. What is it? Why could it/could not it be feasible, etc, etc.

The world is already in the hands of powerful men who are Masons. So therefore you are all too late, we have already gotten control of the world!

Ok so I am being sarcastic, but it's not far from the truth. Being a Mason can afford you a plethora of powerful contacts that you would not otherwise have access to. It's not all about this 'old boy network' though, that is secondary to what it is primarily - a place for men to meet to learn how to be better men through it's teachings, as well as foster stronger ties amongst men who may not otherwise meet and be friendly with each other.... for example, Christians and Jews.... etc.

As a Mason I would like to be introduced to these powerful contacts. Is this the 34th degree?
Take this kiss upon the brow!
And, in parting from you now,
This much let me avow---
You are not wrong, who deem
That my days have been a dream:
Yet if hope has flown away In a night,
Or in a day, In a vision, or in none,
Is it therefore the less gone?
All that we see or seem
Is but a dream within a dream.

The Masons are a lot more powerful in Europe than here in the states. I do have to admit that there HAVE been black helicopters here in the NW.

I was living in a rural area during the Clinton administration, (an administration I trusted more than the current one), when one night I went outside to drag the garbage up to the road. I heard a noise, and looked up to see this black helicopter hovering low over the house. I turned away. The noise got louder, so Ilooked up again. At this point the darn thing hit me with a 10' spot. I still have no idea what it was all about. There seemed to be no markings on the chopper which is illegal. It looked like one of the current military models.

Maybe the National Guard is out on night maneuvers? Could be, ever see that movie, "Home Fries"?

I've seen those black unmarked choppers myself in Montana, who are they?

I just want to throw my two cents in. I do believe there is a plan to creat a New World Order, (or 3 country order) look at europe!

Yet I do not know who is behind it. i think it is all about money (what is not) the Masons may have once been a powerful group do to thier ablity to build the church, yet at this time I feel they are nolonger powerful, Maybe a small fry to keep the eyes off the big fish :Spaz: I don't know I have spend a bit of time on this subject but I don't want to bore your ears off.

I will say One World Order is bad very very bad!!!

thanks for letting me rant
