Danvers MA, my sister says, is haunted. she goes to school at the art college up there in Beverly, and lives there too.  I myself go to Salem alot, and have not yet seen the State hospital, but have read alot on it.
My sister says a few friends of hers snuck in, and got into a long halllway filled with body suites, and very dark.  They got freaked and left.  I think something is going on there because my sister says that the tax payers money is going to keep the building from getting destroyed.  YOu can see it from I95 going north.  Its a beautiful building, with gothic architechure (spelled this wrong!).  There are ALOT of haunted places in CT, and I have been to a few. I am glad I found this site. My friend and I are going on a weekend hunt around CT to find ghost villages.

That is so wild. I just read a big article on that place last night. I had never heard of it until yesterday. Very interesting article.

Wow I live in Salem and haven't heard of it. Any details on the place would be great as it's only the next town over.

Good sites. I particularly liked the one with the movie about Danvers.

Wasn't the movie, "House on Haunted Hill" based on that, or another asylum?  Perhaps there is anyone out there that knows..... ???

I have only heard of danvers, and i used to live a 1/4 mile away from an old asylum in Old Saybrook, CT.  But that is all I know around here.  I don't sneak into places like that because it would terrify the poop out of me!

SPEND THE NIGHT??????????  :o  Ghosthunter, are you a bit nuts in the head??  LoL  I would never spend the night in a place like that if you paid me money!

BTW--where do you live?  If you live in CT you can check out that place in Old Saybrook. If you don't live in CT, you better come here, there are supposedly lots of ghost places. I have never seen a ghost in my life.....but that is another topic!
