No, I have been in some very scary places, I grew up in a haunted house. The only time that fear takes over is when I think it maybe someone or something alive screwing around. Example we did an investigation at a famous haunted graveyard that has also been used for occult rituals and Satanists that was the tale however there was a great deal of evidence including magic symbols burned into the ground. We had a Police escort however they could not stay with us the whole time. The times that they Police were gone I started to think well what if these people come back and do not like us being here?

I also read a news report about a group that investigated a abandoned hospital when they came out they ran right into a group of muggers that were waiting for them and stole their equipment and fired a gun at the ground in front of them.

So, the real fear is people or a wild animal that you may run into, not ghosts.

I know the saying"it's the living you have to fear" , in some cases I am , but then again , I have a big fear of the unknown too : :o

i never really thought about how i would feel about seeing a ghost or whatever but i used to be a HCA here in bournemouth ( seaside resort) in dorset, at a nursing home and was doing my normal "changing" rounds when at the linen cupboard i had the weirdest feeling to turn towards the stairs in front of me and almost collapsed on the spot at seeing a monk like figure in a brownish black coloured habit standing in the doorway funny thing was that i could't move or even scream it was like i was transfixed on the spot.....i wanted to scream out loud for the others on duty with me but no words came out and this seemed to last for several minutes but i dont think it was that long!!!!! after i remember my hairs on my neck standing on end and me legging it out of there also worth noting was that the figure had no legs but appeared to be floating but needless to say i didnt wait around and when i turned it was gone.....but i know what i saw. i later found out from others that i wasnt the only one to of seen this monk, typically....and i can tell you i didnt go up stairs at night on my one for a while.

also, i heard that spirits are known to appear at the bedsides of people close to death, have any of you heard that.

I really hope that if ever confronted with a spirit, I would be able to keep my composure. But....I get chill bumps just reading about them! When I finally get a chance to go to Myrtles, I hope I'll be able to stay the night without being afraid! It's one thing to talk about it, but another to actually do it!

I don't think that ghosts of humans that once lived would frighten me. I've encountered a few before and never felt threatened. However, I would be very afraid of a non-human entity such as a demon or devil. I've never encountered any of these, but I've read stories off Ed & Lorraine Warren's website that totally freak me out.

I live in a house with 5 or 6 spirits and I am not the least bit scared of any of them.

I gotta say that I really would get afraid if I were to encounter a ghost. I've always been afraid of the dark (and still am if I finish watching some scary movie). I have been interested in paranormal stuff since I was a kid (I'm 18 now) and have spent countless hours reading and watching stuff about ghosts. In spite of that, I still would get jumpy if I were to have a run-in with a ghost.

i'm more afraid of the living than i am of the dead. the dead might need help crossing over or maybe trying to tell me something that they need to have said so they can be at peace.

Alone in a room, Yes I would be scared. If I had at least 1 other person with me though I would be fine. Also hope I would have my camera.

really depends on whats going on, i mean i'm used to ghostly activities in my house so in a way no longer afaid and i accept what happens without worry, but still its kinda wierd to be near something that you can't see
