At first when I read the question, my answer was of course no, pffffft, what is there to be afraid of? However, after thinking it over more, I would say yes, if I were alone in a room with a spirit or something supernatural I would probably be afraid. Why? Because it's the unknown. And after having found myself in this situation, the moment that it happened, yes, I was afraid, but that was because it shocked me and I wasn't expecting it.

Apprehensive, yes...afraid no. I am apprehensive by the "what may happen", but I would still do it. I am more afraid of the living. Oh, and if it's pitch black I might not like it. I have always been afraid of the dark. I would still pursue the ghosts anyway!

- Interests:the world here and beyond...lol anything ghosty I don't watch very much tv but when i do it's shows like supernatural.<br />I love music ....going to concerts.....groups like the dropkickmurphys,floggingmollies,pogues, some old stuff like the clash and joe strummer. I just saw Bob Dylan and The Who .<br />I like just about anything but country I do love Johnny cash though!<br />I love walking my dogs and getting outside as much as possible .<br />I plan on living until I'm at least 150 .

I dont think ghost can hurt you or do anything bad to you...But if it was in a room with me and I knew for sure what it was...I would be somewhat scared...Just because its out of the ordinary....

I can,t be afraid because i know that the ghosts around us are connected to us throughout time as we know it....I also believe that we are all angels here right now on a physical plane of some kind...that we won,t fully understand until we pass on to the next ....this is not saying i wouldn,t be a little shocked .
i have only known they are there,seen shadows of shapes of them,and heard the ocasional voice say something.You know....the ones that make you say to yourself...did i really just here that?

I also am afraid of the unknown. I respect anything that can be in my preseance without my knowledge. My personal expereances are of ghost who don't do bad things like throw things. They have only let me and my wife know that they are there. Like moving things and placing things where we know we didn't put them. The closest I have gotten to expereancing a preseance is when a gust of very cold air passed on my leg as I sat on my sofa and just the hairs on my arms and back of my neck stood on end as if electrified. I don't mind sharing my living space with our resident as long as he/she dosen't try to break or do anything to scare any living guest we may have visiting. DonVega:-)

Any ghosts I've encountered haven't been very scary.
One was just an image and the other liked to open and close cupboards.
I did some times feel like something evil was in the cold cellar of that house but I didn't experience anything physical.

I think or rather I know that I would experience some level of fear at least at first. Because, the sensory input would be something that I would not be accustomed to. However, if the ghost or spirit were of a positive, kind nature the fear would likely subside quickly. Obviously, if I were to sense any sort of anger, or negativity, the fear would hang around at least until I could determine if the bad vibes were directed at me.
This is all supposition on my part as I have yet to encounter a ghost that I am able to sense.

Like alot of you I think it depends on the situation that I'm in, Like if the ghost was kinda just hanging around then yeah I'd be like trying to communicate with it. BUT if it was throwing things at me or trying to hurt me then HELL YEAH I'd be scared.

I got so scared from a ghost, that my hair practically fell out. I haven't really had an encounter since then, because it was so scary and I think I closed my mind to ever having another encounter. :unsure:
Oh, except for the footsteps I heard the first night I was in this house. But that didn't scare me because I thought it was my husband!
