You might think that doing a PLR is a complicated affair requiring years of intensive training, but the fact is, almost anyone can do it. Most social workers, counselors and therapists are trained in hypnosis and can easily do a PLR. The two sessions I did under hypnosis were with my ex-wife's therapist (she billed it to my medical insurance.)

What's that? You live in Podunk and don't have accessed to a trained hypnotist? No problem. Go to http://www.astralware.com and snag a copy of their PLR software :ghost: I haven't had a chance to do a session with it, but from what I sampled, it does a very good job of reproducing what a hypnotist would do in a PLR session.

Send me a PM if you have any questions about it . . .

Personally, I think the "Past Life Generator" generates "cookies" for akamai.net, which sells that information to advertisers  I'll probably get a ton of popups and spam now

Well, I've been told that I'm "full of bull," so maybe that's what the Past Life Generator was referencing

Haha. Cute. It said I was a barber. At least it works better than the one that told me I was a watchmaker in Florida about 300 years before anyone invented watches...or probably even settled Florida, for that matter.

Hey bathory313--I don't have a problem with fire if it's in a "controlled" sitution, like in a fireplace, barbeque, etc., althought sitting around an open campfire makes me a little edgy. My fear seems to stem more from a fire happening while I'm asleep and not being able to get out. If I wake up and think I smell smoke, my heart rate shoots up and I get very anxious, and have sometimes gotten dressed in clothes I can leave the house in. I even put my cats in their carriers once, ready to grab them and take them out if I needed to. I think I may have been in a fire and was forced to jump to my death rather than burn to death because I also have a fear of heights, but not as intense as yours. Several months ago, the car repair place down the street from where I live burned down; I wasn't home when it happened, thankfully, but before the debris was cleared off, everytime it rained, it would kick up the ashes and the smell would come wafting thru my windows. I had alot of sleepless nights before they finally cleared the charred remnants away! Interesting side note, at least to me: My great-grandfather committed suicide by setting himself on fire and I have a phobia about burning to death.

Oh, I forgot--Thanks for the PLR software tip earth spirit! Unfortunately, I only have an MSNTV2 internet system--it hooks up to my TV and uses the screen as a monitor so I don't have all the cool stuff of a regular computer--I can get and send email, surf the net, stuff like that. I'm trying to hold off on getting a "real" computer until I get out of school.

I teach at the local junior college, Ambra, so I know what's it's like when you're in school and having to make every penny count. Make a note of the URL, and as soon as you get your own computer, download a copy of the software. IMHO, it does a very good job of duplicating what a hypnotist would do during a PLR session. If anyone here tries the software, I'd like to hear about the experience. Hopefully, that will get everyone to stop using that silly Past Life Generator!!! :P

It's also interesting to see how you can easily correlate events in this life with possible past life experiences, i.e. fear of fire. I remember when I was in high school I had a friend named Larry who was the typical macho adolescent male, scared of nothing, always strutting like a banty rooster--unless you showed him something sharp.

All it took was one look at a knife, a pair of scissors or broken bottle, and Larry would break out in sweat, start screaming like a little girl and then run like crazy. I'm sure his conscious mind told him we were just kidding around, and we weren't going to hurt him, but it was great fun to listen to him squeal. I've often wondered if Larry hadn't met his demise at the end of a blade in some previous incarnation :P
