Hey...I'm new to this board, so hey everyone.

I was wondering if anyone was aware of relatively haunted spots in Minnesota, mainly areas not near the more populated areas such as Minneapolis and St. Paul. I like in Northeastern Minnesota, which is basically a vast vaccuum of nothingness, so it's fairly hard to find anything notable. Any help, or a simple "I don't know" would be appreciated. :Spaz:

Thanks.

Hi whenbothofourcarscollide, welcome to the village. Our group Northern Minnesota Paranormal Investigators or N.M.P.I. have been investigating north eastern Minnesoata for quite some time. There are many places of interest here. There is the Hibbing High School Auditorium, Buhl, the most haunted cemetery I have ever been in as well as multitudes of cemeteries and private haunts. We investigate many places. If you would like to drop me an email at krcguns@yahoo.com I can give you more details. You can also visit our website if you just click the link below in the signature.

Hey I am new also, Have you checked out grey cloud island? I have been there about 5 times in the last 10 years never got to stay long enough to witness anything strange. Everyone I have gone with gets worried and wants to turn back. There isn't much info on the net about it but i have heard quite a few stories from older people.

No, what exactly is grey cloud island? And where is it located? I'd like to hear more, since you said there isn't much listed on the ent.

Its supposedly haunted by chief grey cloud among other strange things. My mom has told me when she was in high school during the 70's there were alot of sightings of something glowing on the roads. Sounds of large objects hitting vehicles while driving. I have also heard alot of stories about people seeing as many as 20 what looked to be people wearing white sheets off in the fields. I have aso heard from 2 or 3 people who have seen what looked to be a person fishing off the side of the bridge from about 20 feet away then not seeing anything while actually crossing the bridge. Like I said I have personally never witnessed any of this. It would be interesting to see if experts could go there and find any proof. I cant explain exactly where it is since I never paid any attention to the streets on the way there. But its near my house and I can go check it out for you one of these days. I do also know a person that grew up in grey cloud township who claims to have had many experiences that aren't worth mentioning because no one would ever believe him

Here is a shot of the lower island, notice the red box this is an area you need to stay away from. If you wander on to the property you will be greated in a non friendly way and escorted back to the road.

Grey cloud township. its near st paul park and cottage grove. There is a cemetary I believe its on the upper island? somewhere on one of the islands is an indian burial ground. i am sure doing some searches on google could get you the location. I haven't really spent much time on the upper island. The 5 times were on the lower island if I remember correctly. maybe someone else from the area will see this and know some stuff.

Ahh...I live about 3 hours from St. Paul and the surrounding major cities, so that's probably why I haven't heard much about it.

Ahh, that's okay. It's still nice to think that there ARE actually places on interest within reasonable driving distance for me  Thanks for the information; it was intriguing.
