I, too, have a picture of a faerie....or so I think....I have 2 pics one farther back as it is flying my way...If it isn't a faerie it is a huge, nocturnal insect...I choose faerie.I will post them if I can squeeze them out of my picture program...It was photographed in the narrow roadway that we use to get back to our wooded parcel. Last year my daughter and I planted a zillion daylillies along each side of the trail.A local daylilly farm was going out of business, we were allowed to dig to our hearts content and mail in our check. We banked the lilys into freshly moved sand on each side where we made the trail wider. We got enough rain last year, they all took, it actually turned out beautiful and if I was a fairy that is where I would hang out too... this is a great site I am glad I came across it......Langdon Rd.[SIZE=1][QUOTE]Conservation means harmony between man and land. I found my faerie pictures and tried several times attaching them to e-mail but had no luck. Can anyone tell me how to attach photos to this site. If I had an e-mail address I could do it that way but I am a new one here and very unfamiliar. Any suggestions would be appreciated because my pictures are very similar to the ones already posted. I heard that faeries like to have sweet milk or honey left out for them...anyone hear this. I can say this when I was taking the pictures I had an uneasy feeling and was in a hurry to leave.

Hi langdon Rd. You need an online album such as image shack, most people use this one. It stores your pics for free..then you copy and paste the link to the pic, into your thread here.. HERES the link to imageshack go there and make an album. Then read THIS <<its all the HOW TO's of using imageshack to post a pic here. Hope this helps, If its all too hard you can email your pics to me at xoxsimxox@optushome.com.au and i can upload them for you. BUT its worth a try to get to know your way around imageshack AND that way the pics are in your own album NOT in mine

I tend to delete pics after a while also. so try it on your own..

Most faries, as far as the tales go like either milk, beer, milk with a bit of bread dipped in, or greuter with cream and sugar. I think it's a modern twist that it has to be sweet

Melli, Now I'm curious how you know what fairies like? are you holding out on me?? Do you communicate with them? I would love to hear of personal stories, I'm still not 100% convinced of them, but it wont take much to convince me!!

Lol simmy- I'm afraid I don't communicate with fairies. As I say, as far as the old tales go those are the things they like depending on region. In Ireland it's generally milk with bread soaked in it, in scotland its usually milk and in scandinavia it the greutar. There are also individual tales about certain kinds of hobgoblin that like beer, and if you're making beer you should always set some aside for the fairies- as if you're making butter you should deffinately give some milk to the fairies or else it will take forever to churn

I had an odd happening last winter and it may have been a faerie responsible. I take outdoor wildlife photos. Prior to purchasing my digital scouting camera I used a 35mm film so I had to check the camera often especially during the winter months because the batteries would be dead often due to the cold temp. I trekked out in the snow carrying my freshly brewwed caramel cappuccino in hand. I arrived where the camera was set up and took a drink of the cappuccino before setting the cup down in the snow. I hesitated because the temp. of coffee had cooled to perfection and I ws almost going to sit down and drink a bit before messing with the camera but I set it down and took care of camera. I finished up with camera and went to grab the cappuccino and it was no where to be found. My friend was with me and she looked and looked also, we backtracked,we sidetracked and we came up empty handed. the ground was snow covered and the cup was full so if it spilled we would find it quickly.....but no sign of cup..we became tired of this search so started heading back to car without the coffee and I turned to give tha area one last look and there was the cup overturned in the snow, empty and no spillage in the snow...It was such an odd moment....we decided next time we will bring an extra cappuccino for the "others". maybe it was a faerie that enjoyed my cappuccino...don't know...I have never given faeries much thought...too busy chasing orbs, apparitions, and light bars. I may have to add faeries to the lsit..any thoughts on the "huge pics" I posted? Is it live or memorex?...langdon rd.
