About Todd Bates
While on a ghost tour back in 2001, Todd captured his first EVP. This sparked his curiosity, and he ultimately became an assistant editor for a paranormal magazine. He formed his own research organization and over the past seven years has been investigating these mysterious phenomena - exploring the states of Illinois, Kansas, Michigan and Indiana. It was this collection of evidence that led Todd to create a website dedicated to EVP research and education.
HauntedVoices.com, now in its third year, has quickly grown to be one of the most successful EVP research websites on the Internet. This Palestine, Illinois native is dedicated to the exploration of EVP, and with the help of audio editing software, Todd has collected some of the most impressive samples of the phenomena available today. Acting as a Beta Tester for Adobe Audition, he implemented a feature in version 2.0 of the software - Mastering and Analysis. Using this program, Todd's catalogue now includes almost 2000 identifiable EVP samples, and he continues to implement new research methods along with the Haunted Voices Investigative team.
Todd also hosts his own weekly internet radio programs, Haunted Voices Radio and The HVR Late Show, both featured on HauntedVoicesRadio.com
