This is a delightful book. It is a book that could be used to introduce Witchcraft to young readers as well as adults. Clearly written, amusing, and accurate, the book discusses finding, crafting, and using fortune-telling tools from around the home.
Patricia Telesco is the author of more than 50 metaphysical books. She is a frequent lecturer on Paganism and conducts workshops. Among her many books are Money Magic, and Mastering Candle Magick.
What Telesco does with this nicely referenced book is to take a wide range of items that can be used and easily found. There are seventeen chapters plus information on the gods and goddesses of divination.
Here is a sampling of the chapters which will give the readers an ample eye full as to what she is covering: Developing your Inner Psychic, Boards, Candles, Cards, Dowsing, Household Omens and Signs, Scrying, among other topics. Each chapter examines and explains in a straight-forward manner that is both enjoyable reading and a distinct learning experience. This is another fine nonfiction book from New Page Books!
