If this book is not a bestseller, I will be surprised! It has humor, it has thought-provoking approaches, and it has a certain catchy wisdom all of its own to make it into a unique book for oracle work on a personal basis. A book about oracles that is also an oracle in and of itself!
Lon Milo DuQuette says it is logical and meaningful to consult oracles found in ordinary items. His numerous anecdotes reveal various techniques of divination.
He suggests you ask your question, then close your eyes. Then handle the book a while, turning it every which way but loose. When the spirit moves you, open the book to any page and read your answer.
I highly recommend this book for the enjoyment and entertainment it gives to a reader. The Book of Ordinary Oracles is DuQuette's best writing to date, and full of humor. A nice little book to spend any time with, and one you will find has many surprises in store for you.
