As a Sensitive, I would suggest to those wanting to learn more about clairvoyance, this is an excellent starting place. It is a clear and specific introduction to spiritualism and clairvoyance, and there are numerous simple techniques to aid in the development of personal psychic abilities. There is a nice glossary and bibliography with the text.
A quick review of how this got started begins with Margaretta and Catherine Fox's highly successful communication with a spirit entity during the year 1848, and from that point on, the movement identified as Modern Spiritualism was underway. Elizabeth Owens explains how an individual can develop natural clairvoyant skills.
An interesting approach by Owens is the simple truth that clairvoyance is possible for every person. She explains the many forms of clairvoyance including psychometry, clairsentience, and clairaudience. This is a hands-on approach. Elizabeth Owens lives in Cassadaga, Florida. She is a certified medium and the author of five books.
Following the preface and acknowledgments, the author presents eight chapters that lead the reader further into the knowledge needed to perfect skills of clairvoyance. Chapters include: "How It All Began," "Defining Clairvoyance," "Meditation First," "Interpretation," Symbols," "Other Forms of Clairvoyance," "Psychometry," and "Practice, Practice, Practice." A workbook section and afterword is included. Appendix Resources for Development on page 161 is helpful and educational reading.
An interesting book, it will offer ways to experience greater understanding of your own, personal spiritual nature. A fine reading experience awaits the readers of this unusual book.
Highly recommended. The reader will find the straight-forward explanations a solid learning experience.
