An amazing collection of ideas and thoughts, this book covers the shadows, spirits, and healing journey of shamanic
witchcraft. Christopher Penczak lives in New Hampshire, he writes and teaches classes in the New England states on the topics of
Witchcraft, meditation, Reiki, and others.
This book concentrates on the art, and act, of creating sacred space in the temple within
and through meditation. In this approach, it relates to the ancient Vedantic concept of
"Look Within."
Meditation, visualization, and psychic development are emphasized. A
historical look takes the reader back in time to 20,000 years ago to the Stone Age, at which time recorded history shows the shamanic traditions of tribal cultures on a worldwide basis.
The teachings found in this book will correspond to the element of water, which guides the reader into the realms of emotion, healing, and reflection. The book is constructed with four chapters introducing
concepts and history, and with commentary on skills. There are a total of
17 chapters. Chapter 14 covers lesson ten, which is about past-life-healing, and the material is made clear and useful for the reader.
The formal lessons form the complete study for a year and one day course in shamanic
witchcraft. Topics covered in this interesting book include shamanic cosmologies, the techniques of journeying and dreamwork, totems, drumming, animal medicine, stone medicine, plant medicine, soul retrieval, psychic surgery, shapeshifting, and shadow work.
An important aspect of this fine book is that the path the shamanic Witch passes through includes the realms of light and dark. You face your shadow and learn to transform negative feelings into positive feelings.
This is a book of healing and transformation, and finally, rebirth. The reader is guided into and through the self-initiation which makes a shamanic Witch.
An interesting subject, it will appeal to a wide range of readers. Well-written, concise, and a helpful guide in its subject presentation into the inner temple of shamanic
witchcraft.
