Readers will find this compact little book a delightful reading experience! It is just about the right size for fitting into a hip pocket, shirt pocket, backpack, or purse. All information given is presented in a clear manner, and details are given in abundance. Kerri Connor is a well-known writer and the High Priestess of the Sisterhood of Les Feys D'Avalon. She has been actively practicing her craft for many, many years. The author also dances under the full moon in rural Illinois.
Following a thoughtful and enjoyable introduction, the book is placed into two parts. The first part is about the rituals of life. The second part is about the rituals of nature. In Appendix A, the reader is given helpful information on how to go about writing the words to rituals, and it contains much helpful advice.
There are many chapters in the book, and each is a fine commentary with explanations. Chapter 10, for instance, covers the new home. Chapter 13 covers passing over. Chapter 28 covers meteor showers. Many topics are explored and the information is practical.
If you are looking for a collection of practical, hands-on approaches to rituals covering a variety of topics, this is an ideal book to read. It is sure to have something along the lines you are looking for, and directions are concise and clear.
What makes this little book work so well is the fine order in which it is designed for reader use! Each entry contains a ritual which gives details on six important elements. These elements are theme, colors, crystals and stones, incense, oils, herbs, and altar decorations. A sample is given of the completed ritual.
This book is highly recommended for its clarity. Interesting from start to finish! Congratulations to the author for writing a fine guide to magickal rituals.
