It is always interesting to see what Dr. Bob Curran is writing about, and his Zombie book is another in a long list of enjoyable books for the paranormal community's readers! This book is a field guide to the walking dead. Everything you need to know for the field trip is found within this book's pages!
This is a well-researched nonfiction work, and it is educational in the information it shares with the readers. A look at the myths, legends, folklore, facts, and truth of the various kinds of the walking undead is examined in detail. From ancient times to the present, all aspects are covered.
Among the many stories about zombies are the locales they are said to exist in, or existed in during the past! Sumerian, Babylonian, Egyptian, Celtic cultures, and contemporary times such as the living mummies of Japan are discussed.
Those of you who have read Curran's previous nonfiction books such as Encyclopedia of the Undead and Vampires will find his zombie book fascinating. Each chapter is exciting reading.
