Ghostvillage.com review

A writer with a keen sense of humor, Adam Selzer takes on the paranormal world with curiosity and a healthy dose of skepticism.

Your Neighborhood Gives Me The Creeps gives the reader an opportunity to check into the Chicago, Illinois, ghost scene. Many strange things come his way, and happen to him during the process. A lively, well-written book, it entertains and gives the reader some insights into what one ghostbuster does.

Topics include an intriguing prologue followed by such chapter titles as If I Die in This Place, Who Do I Think I Am?, Working with Ghosts, Babies and B.S., Through the Ages, The Science of the Supernatural, Coffee with a Psychic, Abandoned by All but the Ghosts (and Ghost Hunters), Meet the Weirdoes, Meanwhile Back at the Tattoo Shop, The Ghosts Check In, The Ghosts Keep Coming, So You Wanna Hunt For Ghosts, and Proof?

The chapter about Coffee With a Psychic is interesting for its blunt honesty and approach to what a psychic does. The material found in the science of the supernatural chapter offers some surprising comments. I would certainly recommend this book for those interested in the wide range of topics which Adam Selzer writes about.

For a humorous look at one man's life and approach to ghost hunting, the reader will find a lot of enjoyment in reading Adam Selzer's Your Neighborhood Gives Me The Creeps. It would be nice to see a sequel.

This book is a page turner and will hold your interest. This is an enjoyable reading adventure, and Adam Selzer is the perfect tour guide for the journey through his creepy neighborhood!
