Shaking Beds and Psychic VisionsRate this encounter: Serena, Chino, California, 1989-1995, firstname.lastname@example.org
After hearing about "the shadow man," it made me recall an incidence that happened to me about 10 years ago.
When I was a teenager, a friend of mine and I were using a ouija board. I thought it would be fun to move the planchette when friends asked questions to the board. Well, to my dismay, every time a thought popped up in my head about their question, it would turn out to be accurate when I moved the planchette. After a while it would get too freaky to move the planchette myself because it was scaring me.
Eventually, I stopped moving the planchette -- that is when it would move by itself. That's also when the strange things started happening. My family would always be the ones to experience the strange occurrences -- lights turning on by themselves, cold spots, uneasy feelings, etc., and I thought they were crazy because it was after all, a game, right?
I wasn't experiencing anything, until I woke up one evening to find a transparent woman at my bedside. I was too scared to speak, although I struggled to get words out, I was frozen with fear. I pulled the covers over my head and prayed she would go away, and she did. But that was not the end of it.
My bed would violently shake in the middle of the night -- I know I wasn't sleeping because it would wake me up, and still shake even after witnesses would come in the room. It happened in the day time as well as night.
On time, I was babysitting in my house when all of a sudden I heard a growling voice tell me I'm a bitch and a liar, and to get out. I tried to tell myself that it was just my imagination, but as I turned to the child I was babysitting (who was 10), there was no denial of the fact that the incident occurred. The young boy had a look on his face of sheer terror. I tried to tell him it was just the "house settling," or maybe we had overactive imaginations, but he knew what he heard, and I couldn't convince him otherwise. To this day that voice gives me chills and fills me with extreme fear.
Except for one more instance and that involves the "Shadow Man," people have always said I have a very strong intuition, maybe even psychic to some extent. I always just "knew things." Sadly, it scares me too, and I try to ignore it since I became an adult.
I was sleeping one evening, until I was awakened in the middle of the night. Everyone was asleep in the house, and I looked up toward my open door and to my fright, I saw a very tall man, maybe six or seven feet tall. He was so tall he barely fit standing near my door frame. All I saw was a man in a black suit -- he was very thin, with what looked like a top hat on his head. I could only see a silhouette, so I never saw his face or even what color his skin was (his silhouette almost looked like Abraham Lincoln). It took me a moment to scream -- as once again I was frozen with fear -- but when I did scream something unusual happened. Both my younger sisters came running in the room and before they even got to my bed, we had a very strong earthquake (I live In California). Had they been in their beds, surely the porcelain dolls they both had displayed above their beds would have came crashing down on them.
I put these incidences in the back of my mind as I got older because we know how society looks upon these things. I assure you, I am not crazy. I am a respected member of my community and wasn't doing alcohol or drugs at anytime during these incidences.
Would anybody maybe have some insight into my situation? Did this phenomena go away from my life? Or do you guys thinks its dormant? Or even more specific, what did they want? It seems as though these occurrences have left me with more questions than answers. God Bless.
