March 4, 2013 A Crisis Apparition in MinnesotaRate this encounter:Jamie -- Mentor, Minnesota -- 1970 This encounter was told to me by mother, now deceased, about ten years after it happened. It was in the spring of 1970. My father and mother drove to our neighbor's farm for a visit on a Saturday morning around 10 A.M. In those days, it was common to just drop in on the neighbors. You didn't have to call ahead to tell them that you were coming. So my parents drove up to the driveway, which went past the house into the yard between the house and the barn. When passing the house, my mother saw a man in the upstairs window waving to them. She knew the man as the family's grandfather, Paul. Mom and dad waved back. When my father parked the car, a man met them in the yard and solemnly told them that Paul had passed away during the night. My mother was quite upset when she got home and didn't tell me about it until years later.
