April 13, 2005 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Nonprofit Paranormal Investigation Firm to Host Connecticut's Largest Event Dedicated to Unexplained, Paranormal, and Fringe TopicsWESTPORT, CONNECTICUT, USA -- The Smoking Gun Research Agency (SGRA), a Westport-based nonprofit organization dedicated to the scientific research and exploration of paranormal, unexplained, and fringe topics, will present its Seventh-Annual Paranormal Conference (ParaCon) on Friday, June 17, and Saturday, June 18, in Stratford.This years ParaCon will consists of three days of events, starting on Friday the 17th with a Paranormal Book Sale, continuing on Saturday the 18th with Connecticuts largest conference, and ending on Sunday the 19th with an online Webcast through the SGRA website. This will be the seventh year for the ParaCon, and new features are expected to draw record crowds to this years event. Friday, there will be a Paranormal Book Sale taking place at the Stratford Library from 11:00am 5:00pm. This will include both new and used books, and will feature authors (many from the local area). Friday evening, starting at 6:00pm there will be a ParaDinner at Outriggers Restaurant (also in Stratford) featuring the guests who will be speaking at the next days conference. Tickets are required for the event, and can be ordered through the SGRA website. On Saturday, the main conference will be held at the Stratford Ramada Inn from 10am 7pm. This will feature guest speakers, a raffle, a silent auction, and other events. The conference is free and open to the public. After the conference there will be a special event at the Reality Caf in downtown Stratford where individuals will have an opportunity to meet and talk with the conference speakers. This is a ticketed event covering food and drink, and tickets can be ordered through the website. Finally, on Sunday evening, there will be a special Webcast through the SGRA website featuring all the speakers who will be attending the conference. This Webcast will allow those who could not attend to ask questions and get answers from one, or all, of our special guests. There are a number of package available through the website, as well as single tickets for each of the ticketed events.
