Bowl, Pestle, and Bad LuckRate this encounter: [Name Withheld Upon Request] - Springville, California - 2005I think we may need help. In the early winter of 2005 my husband was digging the pond on our property to deepen it when he dug up an Indian bowl and brought to the house to show me. The next day he found the pestle. It was identified by an Indian friend as a medicine bowl. Later that winter I woke to see my husband standing by our bed with a strange look on his face. I asked what was wrong and he in turn asked if I had been out of bed yet. I replied that I hadn't and asked him what was wrong. He looked upset and said he had seen something. I asked what, and he said that a woman with long, dark hair wrapped in either a shawl or blanket "floated" through the room where he was watching the early morning news and vanished through the wall. He is the last person in the world to believe in ghosts, but he knows what he saw. Since this we have had very bad luck. We need to know, could this object be haunted? And if so, what do we do? At first we considered it to be a blessing and displayed it in our home. I was just now thinking about our recent run of bad luck and the bowl just popped into my head. I wish someone could tell us if the bowl is responsible or contains some sort of negative energy. We live on old Indian land with many grinding holes in our rocks and one very deep grinding hole on a high rock formation almost like a stage -- possibly ceremonial? I know the Indians here were treated very badly, could our land or at least this bowl in our house be haunted or possessed? Could some sort of cleansing help us? I hope someone is interested and will contact us. The First day we looked at the land I took pictures and there are orbs everywhere. I've had dark mists and odd bright orbs in other pictures -- one in the spot where the lady vanished through the wall. If anyone has any answers please contact us.
